Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor, is most well-known for his part in the television show 'Law & Order Special Victims Unit. His passion for acting started when he was in college. He completed his acting studies at University of Colorado at Boulder. His television characters are gaining him lots of recognition. He is able to play both characters from the side of police officers and different. This is the reason that is what makes him so famous. He was the voice of a serial murderer in his debut television show and then went on to take on the role of an NYPD detective. The actor has been nominated several times for prestigious Emmy Awards and the PRISM Awards for his tiny screen appearances.
