She was among many children to have played alongside Barney, the well-known human-like pink dinosaur. Selena was a part of many episodes of seasons 7 and 8 from 2001-2003. Selena was not the only performer who appeared in Barney and his Friends during that time. Demi Loveto also worked on the show. After the show ended, Selena Gomez auditioned for several parts in different programs as well as films, but wasn't very successful.
