Alana De Garza's beautiful face has made an impression even on tiny screens. The parents of De La Garza were from Ireland and Mexico. The actress was born in Columbus, Ohio, on December 26 in 1976. In no time she left Ohio to move to Texas to pursue her physical therapy degree at University of Texas. De La Garza didn't stay long in Texas before relocating to Florida, Orlando. She was in Orlando for various roles ranging from local independent films to global commercials. Despite the small parts, she realized that acting was her passion. Her move was to New York. Her first role was on the soap-opera All My Children. Through the early part of 2000, she played tiny roles in JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she got a role in her first series part in The Mountain which was a short-lived television drama. De La Garza played Maria Serrano, alongside a number of top TV actors, including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi, and Mitch Pilegge. The most memorable part of her career was in 2006's Law & Order where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. The actress appeared on the show 85 times. Her character was later seen on the short-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. De La Garza received nominations for a variety of Awards, including the Best Supporting Actress for TV from the Imagen Foundation Awards as well as numerous ALMA Award nominations. In 2008, she was awarded an Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza landed a regular role on CSI Miami a short time afterwards. She was Marisol Deko, the spouse of the actor David Caruso's Horatio. Her most current TV work was in NBC's dark drama Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. Alyssa Milano was cancelled by NBC following only two episodes. Milano. The mother of the child is a Italian father, as well as an older sister Cory which is a years older than her. She was raised in the family of a conservative and extremely religious. Milano was able to begin her acting career at seven when her babysitter took her to a stage audition. She was one of the four girls selected out of thousands of hopefuls. Milano performed on TV ads as well as off Broadway shows, including the American first adaptation musical to Jane Eyre.
