Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor. Her most well-known role was Skyler on AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and won Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress in Drama Series 2013 & 2014. Her other roles are Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn began acting as a child as a child in Sante Fe New Mexico. After that, her family relocated to Ohio, where she continued her love of performing on stage. She went to Northwestern University to study theatre as well as the British American Drama Academy. Anna was employed in the Chicago theatre for several years, before trying out for film and TV roles. In 1992, Anna got her first major character as Arden in the 29th episode of Down the Shore. In addition, she was on Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. Then it was only in the latter part of 1990 when she was cast in a role in The Practice. Martha Bullock played two full seasons of Deadwood that was shot during the middle 2000's. Skyler appeared in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully and Deadwood was another movie she starred in. Gunn played in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production directed by David Schwimmer. She was also a part of the four-part podcast audio drama called Numbered Days, which was released in 2022. The drama of Breaking Bad is driven by the relationship between Walter White, his wife Skyler and their strained relationship. The degrading of this relationship is similar to Walter White's dying years.
